2023 Toyota GR86 Cup #70 (GR Cup NA)
Hot Wheels 1/64 HW J-Imports (2024) Car: Toyota GR86 Cup #70 Series: 2023 Toyota GR Cup North America Team: Nitro Motorsports Driver: Toni Breidinger Result: Tied 28th It's always nice to add Hot Wheels liveried cars to my collection, especially ones that are actually real. This one is based on the car driven by Toni Breidinger in the 2023 Toyota GR Cup North America, a one-make series with GR86 Cup cars. From my research, it appears that Toni wasn't too successful in the championship as she failed to score a point which is quite unfortunate.

2002 Overbored 454
Hot Wheels 1/64 2002 First Editions Car: Overbored 454 Year: 2002 Color: Dark Blue Metallic with White Stripes I used to have this one when I was younger so when I saw one being sold for a decent price, I decided to buy it. Although I am not too fond of the casting anymore, it still has a special place in my collection since it was one of my favorites from back then. I am not exactly sure what car this is supposed to be but I've seen people say it's supposed to be some kind of a modern muscle car.

1969 Tom Meade Thomassima III
Hot Wheels 1/64 2000 First Editions Car: Tom Meade Thomassima III Year: 1969 Color: Red The Thomassima III is a custom-built car based on a Ferrari 250GT if I am not mistaken. As the name implies, this is the third car built by Tom Meade and it was completed in 1969. I think this is a really interesting car and I think not too many people actually realize that this is a real car.

2000 Hyundai NEOS
Hot Wheels 1/64 2002 First Editions Car: Hyundai NEOS Year: 2000 Color: Gold Metallic The real car was called the Hyundai NEOS but Hot Wheels calls it the Hyundai Spyder Concept. I'm guessing there was some sort of licensing issue but I'm not really sure and haven't really bothered looking it up. I bought this car because it was being sold for around 1 USD which I think is a nice price. Hyundai, especially back when this concept car was released, weren't really known for producing sporty type cars. This car seems to be some sort of a rival to Caterham cars I think. Although it was never really put in production, I still think it's pretty cool.

2012 Nissan Silvia Drift Car (S15) (Formula D)
Hot Wheels Premium 1/64 Nissan Silvia Car Culture 2-Pack (2024) Car: Nissan Silvia Drift Car (S15) Series: 2012 Formula D Team: RS-R Racing Driver: Toshiki Yoshioka Result: 12th The year listed is just an assumption since the 2012 Formula D entry was the closest one to the Hot Wheels casting, I think. I'm actually not very familiar with drift championships so what I listed might not be 100% accurate.

1997 Nissan Silvia GT300 (S14) #19 (JGTC)
Hot Wheels Premium 1/64 Car: Nissan Silvia GT300 (S14) #19 Series: 1997 All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship Class: GT300 Team: RS-R Racing with Bandoh Drivers: Hideo Fukuyama, Manabu Orido Result: 1st in GT300 Now the shape of the casting isn't exactly the same as the GT300 car but the livery is based on the real car. In the 1997 JGTC season, the RS-R Racing with Bandoh team managed to win 2 races to win the GT300 championship. If I remember correctly, the championship was a close fight between the top 2 teams and I think the point differential was around 5 or less. For the following season, Team Bandoh would change to a Toyota Celica and would start a partnership with WedsSport which has continued on until today.

1969 Volvo P1800 Gasser 'Ain't No Saint'
Hot Wheels 1/64 Car: Volvo P1800 Gasser 'Ain't No Saint' Year: 1969 Series: 2021 Hot Wheels Legends Tour Result: Winner This Volvo P1800 Gasser is called the "Ain't No Saint" in real life. I am not really too familiar with it and only decided to get it because it won the 2021 Hot Wheels Legends Tour. I think Volvo castings aren't super common in 1/64 so this is a nice addition to my collection. I also believe that this is the first gasser car in my collection.

1993 Jaguar XJ220-C #17 (LM24 Fictional)
Hot Wheels 1/64 Car: Jaguar XJ220-C #17 Series: 1993 Le Mans 24 Hours Team: T.W.R. Jaguar Racing Class: Category 4 / GT This car's livery is based on the 1993 Le Mans Jaguar entries but the number is different. The cars in the race had the numbers 50, 51, and 52, with the No. 50 car winning the Cat. 4 or GT class initially before being disqualified. I have decided to still include this in the Le Mans 24 Hours collection because the livery is obviously based on the 1993 cars. Maybe one day I can change the number to actually reflect what the real cars ran.
