2008 Nissan GT-R Police Car (R35) (Taipei City Police Dept. - Datong Branch)
Majorette 1/64 Taiwan Edition Car: Nissan GT-R Police Car (R35) Year: 2008 Livery: Taipei City Police Department - Datong Branch This Majorette Nissan GT-R Police Car has the Taiwanese Police livery on it. I believe this is based on the first generation of the R35 GT-R so the model year was around 2008 I think. I actually got this one for my grandpa but took some pictures of it first.

1977 Chevrolet Impala Fire Command Vehicle (Tokyo Fire Dept.)
Majorette 1/64 Car: Chevrolet Impala Fire Command Vehicle Year: 1977 Livery: Tokyo Fire Department I used to have a Majorette Impala casting when I was a kid but it was a police car version, specifically, the blue and white version. I can't find much info about this specific release but some of what I've read mentioned that this fire department car was released under the Kabaya collection. I used Google Lens to translate what was written on the side of the car and it gave me 'Tokyo Fire Department' as a result. I got this one loose so it has some damages on it but it was interesting enough for me to add to my collection.

1990 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL
Majorette 1/64 Car: Mercedes-Benz 500 SL Year: 1990 Livery: 2002 Tokyo Yomiuri Giants The reason I got this casting is I think it is quite rare and it's nice to add a sports-themed car to my collection that isn't too tacky. The Yomiuri Giants are a baseball team from Tokyo and if I am not mistaken, they are one of the oldest sports teams in Japan. They are the most successful baseball team in Japan as they have won more than 20 Japan Series titles. The logos on this car say "2002 Giants" which is nice since the Yomiuri Giants won the Japan Series that year.

2013 Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series
Majorette 1/64 Car: Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series Year: 2013 Color: Crystal Laurite Silver Based on the fact that the car has a rear spoiler, I can assume that it is based on the "AMG Vision Gran Turismo Racing Series" version, the racing version of the standard "AMG Vision Gran Turismo" concept car from the Gran Turismo series.

2014 Infiniti Concept Vision Gran Turismo
Majorette 1/64 Majorette No. 211A (2017) Color: Fusion Yellow The Gran Turismo series is perhaps the most popular racing video game series of all time. Around 10 years ago, they started partnering with some manufacturers to design some concept cars that would showcase some technologies that I believe the manufacturers were interested in. Back in 2017, Majorette did a series of just Vision Gran Turismo cars. One of those cars is this Infitini Concept Vision Gran Turismo. Based on some stuff I've read online, the design of this car actually came from a competition wherein the theme was designing a pure Infiniti GT car. The winning design came from the Infiniti Design Beijing team. I've always thought this car had some Chinese design feel to it, although I can't exactly pinpoint what, but now it makes sense to me after reading about the history of the design. A lot of people seem to hate these Vision Gran Turismo cars but I think they are actually quite cool. It is a shame that the Majorette Vision GT line seems to be dead since they had some nice cars and I was looking forward to seeing some of the newer Vision Gran Turismo cars in 1/64 scale too. I am hoping other diecast makers would try doing some of these castings. I know Norev, Tomica, and Hot Wheels have done some of them before but I think they only did 1 or 2 castings each.

2018 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia
Majorette 1/64 Majorette Street Cars (2021) Majorette No. 271C Color: Misano Blue Metallic I did some research and apparently, this color was only available on the limited edition Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia. There are some differences especially at the back of the car compared to the standard model but Majorette, understandably, didn't do those changes to this casting. It's actually pretty neat that this was based on a specific variation of the 4C.

2016 Audi R8 V10 Spyder (Type 4S)
Majorette 1/64 Majorette Street Cars Color: Black and Silver Majorette is one of the few toy makers that made the pre-facelift version of the 2nd generation Audi R8 in 1/64 scale. This particular example in a rather nice glossy black paintjob comes from their mainline "Street Cars" line. I've seen the other colors before but never gotten any of them.

2004 Renault Megane 3-Door Hatchback (Mk. 2) #15B (Andros Trophy - Val Thorens)
Series: 2004-2005 Andros Trophy - Val Thorens Stage Class: Elite Driver: Philippe Gervoson Results: 32nd in Day 1, 30th in Day 2 I got this older release from Majorette. The info about the real car is actually quite scarce, as well as the pictures. In fact, most of the info I was able to find were either in French or in the website called "prostfan" which I believe posts the results of all the races that Alain Prost has participated in. This car in particular participated in the 2004-2005 edition of the Andros Trophy. The Andros Trophy is French ice rally competition held every December of the year until January of the following year. I believe they also held some races outside of France but I am not sure how often they held those. Other than Alain Prost, there have been several other famous racing drivers who participated in this race such as Martin Brundle, Olivier Panis, and Yvan Muller. I'm pretty sure there are several others as well but they were the names I encountered when doing some research that I actually remembered. The pictures I've seen of the actual car actually have the B crossed out in the numberplate which kind of makes it look like 15B but the line that goes through is actually diagonal instead of being fully horizontal. It seems that there were 2 drivers who drove the #15 car during the Val Thorens stage of the 2004-2005 edition: Laurent Battut as #15 and Philippe Gervoson as #15B. Now I do apologize because I am not familiar with either of the drivers but it seems that Battut is the full season driver while the drivers of the #15B car would change every now and then as the aforementioned Martin Brundle actually drove it in one of the other stages. Unfortunately, I believe the championship just held its final edition last December to January because global warming has made it difficult for the organizers to find ice and snow in France. I would also like to add that I will try finding an additional copy of this casting and then just put a line on the B to kind of replicate the #15 car driven by Laurent Battut.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7.R #3 (Daytona 24H)
Majorette 1/64 Car: Chevrolet Corvette C7.R #3 Series: 2014 Daytona 24 Hours Class: GTLM Team: Corvette Racing Drivers: Jan Magnussen, Antonio Garcia, Ryan Briscoe Result: DNF The casting isn't exactly a Corvette C7.R. It's pretty much just a normal Corvette C7 with a rear wing. Still, the livery is definitely based on the C7.R liveries though it's hard to pinpoint which one exactly since they all pretty much look the same. I just decided to list this one as the 2014 entry since that was the first year of competition for the car.

1970 Porsche 917 K #3 (Paris 1000km)
Majorette 1/64 Car: Porsche 917 K #3 Series: 1970 Paris 1000km Class: S Team: Gesipa Drivers: Willi Kauhsen, Jurgen Neuhaus Result: DNF Majorette's Porsche 917 K casting is definitely one of my favorites from them. What makes me appreciate them even more is that pretty much every release of it are based on actual cars. This one in particular is based on the Gesipa entry in the 1970 Paris 1000km race. Unfortunately, although the car qualified well, it didn't finish the race. If I remember correctly, the 1970 Paris 1000km race is also notable for being Jack Brabham's final race as a full-time driver. He did make some one-off appearances in the later years though, mostly in the Bathurst 1000 races in Australia.

Majorette 1/64 Car: Porsche 917 K #35 Series: 1970 World Sportscar Championship - Watkins Glen 6 Hours Class: S5.0 Team: International Martini & Rossi Racing Team Drivers: Gerard Larrousse, Gijs van Lennep Result: 9th overall, 8th in S5.0 I think I've mentioned before that this particular Porsche 917 K also participated in a Can Am race held during the same weekend as the Watkins Glen 6 Hours in pretty much the same deco. Personally, I have the car listed as the Watkins Glen 6 Hours entry.
