「羅臼」(らうす、北海道)
知床半島南東部の羅臼町。知床観光の拠点のひとつ。
これは羅臼岳を背景に羅臼漁港と険しい地形に囲まれた街の様子。ヒカリゴケ自生地のマッカウス洞窟が紹介されていて興味深いが、"知床"の地名はペナントのどこにも登場しておらずユニークな印象だ。全長70cm。

"羅臼" Rausu, Hokkaido.
Rausu is a town in the southeastern part of the Shiretoko Peninsula and is one of the bases for Shiretoko sightseeing. This pennant depicts Mt. Rausu, the town of Rausu, and the fishing port. It also depicts a cave where Hikarigoke moss grows wild.
Length 70cm （27.5in). This pennant was produced around 1970s or 1980s. #vintage
