「奈良」(奈良県)
奈良公園、 #若草山 の"若草山焼き"。毎年1月下旬に行われる行事。2025年は19万人の人出だったという。
これは花火の上がる山焼きと興福寺の五重塔、そして公園の鹿。奈良と言えば大仏のイメージが強いが、風物詩に絞って描いていて興味深い作品。全長61cm。

Souvenir #pennant in Japan, my collection.
"奈良" Nara, Nara prefecture.
The pennant depicts the Mt. Wakakusa Yamayaki （burning a mountain）, one of Nara's representative events held every year in late January. Wakakusa Yamayaki, which is meant to repose the souls of the ancient tombs on the mountain and to drive away evil spirits.
Length 61cm (24.0in). This pennant was produced around the 1970s or 1980s. #vintage
